Memphis fan hits half-court shot to win tater tots for life (Video)
Memphis’ home opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday was seemingly over within minutes. The Grizz managed just 10 first quarter points in what one team beat writer described as a “somnambulant” performance. Winning a lifetime supply of tater tots from a local fast food chain seems like the way to go, but allow me to dump a little cold water on things with my potato rankings:
1. French fries
2. Waffle fries.
3. Curly fries.
4. Potato wedges.
5. Mashed potatoes.
6. Potato chips.
7. Baked potatoes.

192. Whatever my ancestors used to pull out of the ground.

487. Whatever Dan Quayle does with them.
[…]
821. Tater tots.
Still, it’s a 47-foot shot nailed in front of adoring thousands, and free food for life. Nothing somnambulant about that.
(Is that what “somnambulant” means?)
