Moore: Clippers (-5.5) over Kings: The Kings are going to have to prove it to me. It’s a home opener, which makes me nervous, but the Clippers have been too good to consistently to doubt them.
Harper: Clippers (-5.5) over Kings: The Kings are certainly a more talented team than we saw last season, but so are the Clippers. And the Clippers beat the George Karl-led Kings by a combined 38 points at the end of last season. Sacramento has to prove it to me before I buy into them being able to challenge some of the top teams.
Kostos: Thunder (-5) over Spurs: Look for the Thunder to roll in Billy Donovan’s coaching debut as the Spurs will need time to truly acclimate LaMarcus Aldridge into their offense.
