Teemu Selanne offers struggling Ducks goal scoring advice (Video)
The Anaheim Ducks are having many problems scoring goals this season. They’ve notched just six scores in seven games, fewer than Jamie Benn, Zach Parise and Max Pacioretty.
So the leading goal scorer in Ducks history has offered advice on how to ‘light the lamp.’
Teemu Selanne shows the Ducks how easy it is to put a puck in the net in the below hilarious Instagram video.
Selanne scored 457 goals in 966 games with the Ducks/Mighty Ducks franchise. He also has scored 684 goals in his career, good for 11th overall in league history. Selanne retired from the NHL following the 2013-14 season.

This isn’t the only time Selanne has needled his former teammates in a joking manner this season.
Judging by this video, it seems like Selanne’s golf conditioning is better than his hockey shape at the moment.
The 45-year-old legend also recently reached out to former Ducks teammate Bobby Ryan, who’s had a slow start with the Ottawa Senators this season with just one goal, an empty netter. He gave Ryan another simplistic method on breaking out of his funk.
“Teemu said it best when he called goal scoring a ketchup bottle. You just got to get one and it will start flowing,” Ryan explained on Monday. “We played so long together and it’s nice to see that he’s still following me,” said Ryan. “He’s probably gone through this (slump) – probably not to the same extent as I have the past 40 games or so. But he’s a guy that’s been through it and a Hall of Famer. It always means a lot.”
The Ducks are 1-5-1 and will face the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday night as they try to break out of their funk.
