Oregon State DB Treston Decoud moving extremities after helmet-to-helmet hit
Oregon State defensive back Treston Decoud was coherent and moving all of his extremities after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit by a teammate during the second quarter of Saturday’s game against Colorado.
Decoud did not show any signs of movement when he was initially injured as his head and neck were stabilized on the field. He was ultimately transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis for evaluation.
Oregon State officials later announced the positive news regarding Decoud’s condition.
Decoud, a junior transfer from Northwest Mississippi Community College, has started six of the Beavers games this season. He has 28 tackles and four pass breakups.
