Week 8 college football picks: Utah at USC, Texas A&M at Ole Miss, more – Sports Illustrated
It’s unlikely we’ll see a game this season that will provide as much drama as last week’s matchup between Michigan and Michigan State. That was absolutely wild. But there are bound to be some thrilling, down-to-the-wire finishes going forward, even in weeks that don’t offer a lot of intrigue. Take this week. On the surface, the potential for entertainment/chaos seems low, but there are a few games you can’t afford to ignore.
Can Miami push undefeated Clemson? Utah is on track to earn a spot in the College Football Playoff, yet surviving a trip to USC won’t be easy. And both Texas A&M and Ole Miss will be looking to get back on track after suffering losses last week. SI.com’s team of college football writers—Andy Staples, Pete Thamel, Thayer Evans, Zac Ellis, Colin Becht, Lindsay Schnell, Brian Hamilton and Ben Glicksman—offers its predictions for those games and more.
