Iowa State has had a bumpy affair with the 2015 regular season. Carrying has been decent from Mike Warren, taking 93 for 652 yards and three touchdowns, while Joshua Thomas has carried 36 for 117 yards and four scores. The aforementioned Lazard has been on the receiving end of 29 passes so far for 406 yards, and has himself scored three touchdowns.

The Baylor Bears have had a considerably better 2015 season, and are yet to suffer a loss to any opponent. Last week’s victory saw them wipe through West Virginia with a 62-38 result. The game would see the team achieve some major feats, such as quarterback, Seth Russell throwing for 300 yards and rushing for 100 yards all in the same game – something only achieved once before by Robert Griffin III in 2011. Number one wide receiver, Corey Coleman was also fiendishly on point, being on the receiving end of three more touchdowns to break the single-season school record.

It would appear that Baylor have very little to worry about in terms of their upcoming game against Iowa State. Russell has completed 103 of 163 attempted passes for 1907 yards this season so far, and has also recorded 27 passing touchdowns altogether. Add that to Shock Linwood’s eight rushing touchdowns on 94 carries for 803 yards, as well as multiple touchdowns from Johnny Jefferson, and five rushing touchdowns for Russell, and you’ve got yourself an offensive set of warriors. Receptions have been on point, thanks to Coleman and compatriots like Jay Lee, who has received 21 for 494 yards and six touchdowns, and KD Cannon would has received 20 for 324 yards and three touchdowns.
