The star sniper scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season in the Blues’ 4-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets. Tarasenko is tied for the NHL lead in goals and points (nine).
No. 2 Star: Anders Nilsson, Edmonton Oilers
Anders the Giant made 33 saves as the Oilers outlasted the Vancouver Canucks, 2-1, in overtime. Lauri Korpikoski had the game-winner.
No. 3 Star: Adam Henrique, New Jersey Devils
The Devils forward scored his third of the season to tie the game in the second period and then set up Lee Stempniak’s OT winner to give New Jersey its first win of the season, 2-1 over the New York Rangers.

Honorable Mention: Rickard Rakell and Mike Santorelli scored key goals and the Anaheim Ducks finally landed in the win column, 4-1 over the Minnesota Wild. Hampus Lindholm had a goal and an assist and Anton Khudobin made 34 saves. … Tyler Toffoli scored to break a 1-1 tie as the Los Angeles Kings topped the Colorado Avalanche, 2-1.
