Best of Midnight Madness: Harvard forward leaps over teammate

Midnight Madness produces some memorable moments each year, so The Dagger is chronicling the best ones from this October’s lineup. If you spot something we missed, let us know here or here.
If you’re going to have the audacity to wear a Michael Jordan jersey in a dunk contest, you better come with something special. Harvard’s Zena Edosomwan did just that Friday night at the school’s Midnight Madness event, leaping over 6-foot-10 Balsa Dragovic and three young fans for a soaring one-handed dunk. The 6-foot-9 Edosomwan then busted out a nae-nae dance as his teammates flooded onto the court to congratulate him. A four-star recruit who chose Harvard over bigger programs, Edosomwan has played sparingly his first two seasons, averaging 4.0 points and 3.1 rebounds as a sophomore last year. He’ll have to play a far bigger role this season if Harvard is going to contend in the Ivy League once again despite the season-ending injury suffered by Siyani Chambers and the graduation of Wesley Saunders and Steve Mondou-Missi.
