Warriors C Bogut breaks nose in preseason game
Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut suffered a broken nose in the second quarter of Thursday’s 123-101 preseason win over the Houston Rockets.
Rockets swingman K.J. McDaniels attempted a dunk and connected with Bogut’s nose on the follow-through of the short miss.
Bogut did not return to the game, but stayed on the bench during the second half.
Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton said he has “no idea” whether Bogut will miss time, adding that the injury will be further examined Friday.
Bogut finished with six points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 11 minutes of action.
The Warriors next play the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday in San Diego.
