Little Blue Jays fan dressed like Jose Bautista mimics decisive homer as it happens
Anybody who’s picked up a baseball bat at some point in their life has pretended to be their favorite player, swinging and connecting with an invisible home run to win the game. (Usually with their own play-by-play too!)

So the kid inside you is going to love this video of a little Toronto Blue Jays fan who was at Rogers Centre for the decisive Game 5 of the ALDS on Wednesday. He was dressed like Jose Bautista and mimicing Bautista as the Jays slugger stepped to the plate and hit the mammoth homer that would eventually send Toronto to the ALCS. And, of course, the kid freaked out as Bautista rounded the bases. As would you.
The kid didn’t give us a huge bat flip like Bautista, though, which is sometimes the problem with swinging an invisible bat. Just be careful if you do that next time, you wouldn’t want to offend the invisible opposing team.
