Rapper Lil B blesses Blue Jays before crucial Game 3 of the ALDS
If the Toronto Blue Jays lose Game 3 of the ALDS on Sunday night, it’ll be a stunning sweep out of the playoffs. The Jays had the best offense in baseball, were the World Series favorites … and they’ve been clearly outplayed by the Texas Rangers in the playoffs.
Desperate times, as the cliché goes, calls for the Based God.

Toronto city councilor Norm Kelly asked Lil B, the popular rapper and sports fan known for cursing Kevin Durant, to lend his good luck to the Jays. Appealing to Lil B for help in matters of sport is nothing new. And Kelly is famous for having what is pretty much the best Twitter account for a 74-year-old politician. He called out rapper Meek Mill when he was beefing with Toronto’s favorite rap son, Drake. Consider this a perfect collision of the Twitter Gods.
Dear @LILBTHEBASEDGOD, Can you please silence the haters and bless the @BlueJays ahead of tonight’s game? Your friend, Norm

@norm @BlueJays hey norm your request is granted and remember I love you and Canada! That’s number one! – Lil B

Be happy the Based God’s on your side, Toronto. Maybe it’s enough to cancel out the Curse of Drake.
