Who’s going all the way? Yahoo Sports predicts the 2015 MLB postseason
The Toronto Blue Jays are the favorite to win the 2015 World Series and the Yahoo Sports MLB crew are firm believers in the power of Josh Donaldson, Jose Bautista and Co. Welcome to our annual installment of MLB postseason predictions, where our writers forecast the each series up until the final one, and we pick players that will impress and disappoint.

This year, our panel included Yahoo Sports baseball columnists Tim Brown and Jeff Passan, plus Big League Stew bloggers Chris Cwik, Israel Fehr, Mike Oz and Mark Townsend. We did run our predictions by each other, and what you see in the grid below should make that fairly obvious. We are, as you might say, one the same page for a lot of things.
But baseball is hardly, if ever easy to predict, so we’ll see how these play out. We look forward to your very civil and encouraging comments.
If case you don’t recognize a few of the players on the chart:
• MVP picks: Jose Bautista, Edwin Encarnacion, Russell Martin, Josh Donaldson, Bautista and Martin.
• Disappointing players: Cole Hamels, Johnny Cueto, Matt Carpenter, Jon Lester, Yadier Molina, Yoenis Cespedes
• Star Who Delivers: Cespedes, Anthony Rizzo, Clayton Kershaw, Bautista, Kershaw and Donaldson.
• Best Pitcher: Five David Prices and one Kershaw.
