Georgia were on a roll towards their fifth week, having claimed victories in their first four matches of the 2015 NCAAF regular season. However, the Alabama Crimson Tide would wash over the Bulldogs last week, leaving them high and dry with a 38-10 loss. And while Georgia did pull starting quarterback, Greyson Lambert late in the first half, it didn’t make much of a difference after second quarterback, Brice Ramsey threw his second interception, as Lambert was then returned to play.
Lambert has completed 62 of his 92 attempted passes this season for 819 yards and taken seven touchdowns in the process. An equal amount of touchdowns have been claimed by running back Nick Chubb, who has also carried 91 for 745 yards, while Sony Michel has carried 41 for 276 yards and claimed four touchdowns so far. Receptions have been claimed by Malcolm Mitchell n the most part so far, who has recorded 371 yards and three touchdowns.
Tennessee’s Volunteers have had a rollercoaster of a time this season so far, winning their first annd third week matches in spectacular fashion, and suffering defeats in all the rest. Last week saw them fall to Arkansas’ Razorbacks in a 24-20 result. While running back, Jalen Hurd ran for 90 yards, he was held to a single yard on four carries in the second half, and Arkansas’ defensive line up managed to hold the Volunteers to three points and 90 total yards after the first half.
Quarterback, Joshua Dobbs has completed 73 of his 127 attempted passes, and has claimed 789 yards in the process, while securing five touchdowns as well. The aforementioned Hurd has carried 105 altogether this season for 492 yards, with seven touchdowns. Meanwhile, Aaron Medley has made 23 extra points for his team and eight field goals, one of which came from a 40-49 yard kick. However, the Volunteers have a lot to do in order to improve their fifth position in the SEC – East division.

We’re not sure where either team is mentally heading into this game, but we do feel that it will be tougher for the Vols to bounce back after losing their third game that they had a double digit lead in. Georgia had everything go wrong against Alabama but the season is not lost and could get back track with a win at Neyland Stadium. We’ll give the Bulldogs one more shot to prove to us that last week was a fluke and take the team with the superior running game.
