Williams, a wide receiver who had been in trouble several times during his Auburn career, apparently became angry when a member of his party was removed from the bar for wearing sunglasses, a violation of the bar’s dress code.

Williams, a senior, had 12 catches for 147 yards and a touchdown this season. He was one of the team’s top offensive threats in 2014 with 45 catches for 730 yards and five touchdowns.
However, his off-field issues have marred his success on the field. He was suspended for last year’s Outback Bowl for breaking team rules. He also suspended for a week of preseason practice for a disciplinary issue.
