Kickers have missed a total of 18 field goals and extra points heading into the Monday Night Football matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions.

Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans
Point spread: Bills -3
Over/under: 43
With youngster Tyrod Taylor under centre, the Bills’ offence is going to have some ups and downs. Last week, Taylor came back down to earth as Buffalo’s attack stalled a couple of times in the red zone. Even with the bye week to prepare, the Titans could struggle to run the ball, making Marcus Mariota’s job a lot tougher.

Chicago Bears at Kansas City Chiefs
Point spread: Chiefs -10
Over/under 45.5
The Bears aren’t a good football team – that much is obvious. That doesn’t mean they should be 10-point underdogs against a Chiefs team that ranks 29th in total defence. As long as Jay Cutler, Alshon Jeffrey and Matt Forte are on this team, they should be able to hang around with the Chiefs.

Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens
Point spread: Ravens -6.5
Over/under: 43.5
Jump on this line before it moves up to a touchdown because this is a terrible matchup for the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland ranks 31st against the run and the Ravens need to pound the ball on the ground to be successful. Expect to see a lot of Baltimore’s running game with Joe Flacco picking his spots on play-action passes.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Point spread: Buccaneers -3
Over/under: 42.5
Jameis Winston is struggling to read coverages and just threw four interceptions last week. He should get along better against Jacksonville’s secondary but the Jags could control the clock with their ground game. T.J. Yeldon rushed for 105 yards against Indianapolis and could have a big day here.

New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles
Point spread: Eagles -4.5
Over/under: 49
Pick your poison here – a Saints offence that looks like it’s finally running on fumes against a Chip Kelly offence that can’t run the ball. Best bet here is under the 49-point total but take the Saints to keep it close if you want a point spread wager.

It’s getting to the point where you’re almost taking the Packers every week they’re at home and favoured by fewer than 10 points.

There’s a lot to love about the Falcons’ balanced offence, but Washington’s defence is giving the team a shot each week. This should be a tight battle.
