You have to hear Derek Holland’s impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger
Texas Rangers left-hander Derek Holland is man with many effective pitches, many unique hair styles, and apparently several different voices.
In the past, we’ve heard his Harry Caray impressions during game broadcasts. Or at least his impression of Will Ferrell’s Harry Caray impression. Now check out his spot-on impression of movie icon and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, which he broke out during an appearance on Sportscenter.
If you watched it the first time with your eyes closed, you’d swear it was Arnold himself. That’s a “strong” impression of the former seven-time Mr. Olympia, which is something impressionists and comedians everywhere work years to achieve.

Holland is just a natural. He’s also something of a movie buff, or at least has a strong affection for certain characters. Earlier this season he got a haircut matching Charlie Sheen’s memorable Rick “Wild Thing” Vaughn character from Major League, and then he got to meet Sheen himself when the Rangers visited Los Angeles.
We’re not sure if he holds any of Arnold’s characters in the same regard, but here’s hoping for an “Arnold-off” should their paths ever cross.
