Wife of Dolphins’ Brent Grimes arrested before Miami-Buffalo game

Miko Grimes, the wife of Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes, was arrested on Sunday before Miami’s catastrophic loss to the Buffalo Bills. Grimes was arrested on charges of battery of a police officer and resisting arrest with violence, according to local reports.

NBC 6 South Florida’s Adam Kuperstein said a witness claimed that Grimes tried to cross a police barricade before getting tackled by a cop. 

“Belligerent” and started screaming obscenities. Grimes then resisted arrest and report says Miko head-butted female officer. Male officer..

Says he threatened to taser Miko, Then, after she calmed down he says she tried to kick him and swing her elbows.

Grimes has no problem making her views known; earlier this year, she went off on the NFL as the world’s “shadiest, disrespectful sport” on Twitter, and hinted darkly that she knows “where the bodies are buried.” It’s likely she’ll have something to say about this particular day’s events as well.
