When in the Jets’ locker room, don’t trash-talk the Jets on Twitter
Every NFL fan would love some up-close access with the pros. And every fan loves to talk trash about the pros. When you get the former, though, you probably shouldn’t engage in the latter.
A fan who certainly appears to be the son of Jets tight ends coach Jimmie Johnson was behind the scenes for the Jets’ game with Philadelphia on Sunday, and took the opportunity to post a couple since-deleted Twitter shots at some notable Jets.
Here he is knocking Geno Smith:
He then took a shot at Antonio Cromartie … who happened to be paying attention, and responded in kind:
Whoops. Busted.
Shortly afterward, Johnson changed his Twitter handle and posted the following apology:
Yeah, it’s a pretty safe bet he’ll get a few lessons in how to handle social media at your father’s office.
