Idaho State’s punt goes horribly wrong vs. Boise State (Video)
This “punt” by Idaho State’s Zak Johnson pretty much sums up the kind of game the Bengals had against Boise State on Friday night.
Already down 21-0, Johnson attempted one of those rugby style punts early on in the second half.

Things went horribly wrong.
As you can see, Johnson shanked the punt horribly off the side of his foot and hit Boise State’s Tanner Vallejo right in the arm. After overcoming the initial shock of getting punted with a football, Vallejo jumped on the fumble to give the Broncos excellent field position.
Four plays later, Boise State took a 28-0 lead on a Kelsey Young nine-yard touchdown run.
Idaho State’s struggles continued for the rest of the game as Boise went on to win 52-0.
