Arkansas Jared Cornelius suffers gruesome arm injury (Video)
It looks like Arkansas will be missing another receiver for an extended period of time after WR Jared Cornelius’ nasty forearm injury against Texas Tech Saturday night.
Cornelius made a catch in the first half against the Red Raiders and his forearm appeared to break as he hit the ground. He somehow calmly jogged off the field – while in considerable pain – before the next play. We would probably be on our backs and passed out from shock at the sight if the injury happened to us.
Here’s video of the incident. It’s not pretty, so if you don’t want to see an injury, don’t click play.

Before Cornelius injured his left arm the Razorbacks were missing receiver Keon Hatcher for “at least” six weeks after he was hurt in the Hogs’ Week 2 loss to Toledo. Cornelius and Hatcher entered the 2015 season as Arkansas’ top two receivers. Wide receiver Cody Hollister also suffered a foot injury in practice before the Texas Tech game.
The loss of wide receivers means that tight end Hunter Henry will be an even bigger focal point of the passing game. Henry has more cathces than any tight end in the SEC over the previous two seasons.
