Michael Carter-Williams plunks camera man with ceremonial first pitch
The Milwaukee Brewers can’t seem to get anything to go right in their forgettable 2015 season. They are on their way to a 90 loss season, a four-year playoff drought, they traded superstar outfielder Carlos Gomez, and now ceremonial first pitches are going awry.
On Thursday night the Brewers welcomed Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams to Miller Park for the first pitch. The 2014 NBA rookie of the year, with a career .401 shooting percentage, was just a bit outside and plunked the camera man behind home plate.
See it again and again:
Sneaky the best part? How about the reaction from assistant coach Joe Crawford who was out to catch it? That’s the biggest fist pump we’ve seen in Milwaukee all year.
At least Carter-Williams was able to laugh at himself:
It’s not quite 50 Cent bad, but odds are we will be seeing this highlight for years to come.
