Fan takes foul ball off his head during flawless Jose Canseco impression
Some fans root for their favorite players by wearing a jersey to a game. Others cheer loudly every time that player steps up to the plate.

During Tuesday’s Cleveland Indians/Kansas City Royals game, one fan decided to pay homage to his favorite player in a unique way: performance art.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Abraham Almonte sent a hard hit foul ball into the seats in left field. The fan in question raised in arms as if he was going to try and catch the ball.
Instead, he resorted to his best Jose Canseco impression. The ball bounced off his head, hit another fan in the hands and eventually made it’s way back onto the field.
If he was going for this, he succeeded flawlessly:
Obviously, our Jose Canseco impressionist was in some pain after the play. Medical examiners at the park did come and talk to the fan, but it appears that his pride was the only thing injured during the incident.
All in all, we give him a solid 9.5 out of 10 for the impression. And for those of you who might point out that this wasn’t an impression, and was possibly a huge, embarrassing error … well, we would prefer to stay optimistic around here. Our fan could probably use some positive vibes while icing the big knot on his head.
