Marshawn Lynch’s mama isn’t happy with Seahawks play-calling
Mama Lynch is not happy.
Unlike her son, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, Delisa Lynch has no problem sharing her thoughts with the public, and she did so in a Facebook post in which she called offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell “the worst play caller ever.”

Lynch claimed that the reason Bevell called for Marshawn to get the ball on fourth-and-1 against the Rams on Sunday was to make up for his call in the closing moments of Super Bowl XLIX, when the play called for quarterback Russell Wilson to attempt a pass from the 1-yard line instead of giving it to her son. Wilson’s pass was intercepted by corner Malcolm Butler, and New England won the game.
Marshawn got the ball in St. Louis as Seattle was trying to extend overtime, and was stuffed behind the line of scrimmage, ending the game.
“Too the smart azz media who wrote that’s why marshawn didn’t get the ball in the superbowl ,how many times did russell get sacked yesterday,” Delisa Lynch wrote. “Dont worry i will wait on the answer plus it was totally different at the superbowl the line was better than yesterday no blocking and to the offense caller who should have been fired yes i said it Fired !!! He is the worst play-caller ever the only reason he called that dumb azz play yesterday is to be able to justify the 1 yard that wasn’t called in the superbowl ,but most fans already figured this out .were still on a mission but i know the Seahawks staff loves that play caller more than a win ,go figure #nfldontpayme# I love this team and will stand up to anybody who tries to destroy it boom!!!!”
This isn’t the first time a frustrated family member has spoken out about a team’s actions, but it has to make things a little bit uncomfortable – even in Pete Carroll’s let-everyone-be-who-they-are world – to have the mother of a star player calling out the offensive coordinator after only one game.
