Josh McCown is the Browns starting QB, but backup Johnny Manziel probable after elbow problems. McCown had gone 1-10 as the Bucs starter last season. He is not a very good QB, he simply outplayed Jay Cutler a few years ago, but that is not hard to do.

Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Buster Skrine will feast on him. Jets veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick starts for Geno Smith. This is a huge upgrade. Yes Fitz is a journeyman and the Jets preferred Smith, hoping he would evolve, as he is of course the much younger of the two. But for week 1, New York has their best quarterback starting.
This game is also one of the few with some weather concerns, albeit mild. Scattered light rain showers are expected, especially in the first half. Essentially the same forecast exists in the northern part of the state when the dome team Indianapolis Colts play at Buffalo. Winds of 14 mph are expected, also considered to be right on the cusp of significance by pro gamblers.
