Courtois may face months out – reports
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is set for a spell on the sidelines with reports mixed on how long he will be sidelined for.
It is reported that Courtois sustained a knee injury upon his return to training with Chelsea following the international break.
The Daily Mirror says the Belgium international will definitely miss the Premier League match at Everton on Saturday lunchtime, while The Sun predicts a month out.
Courtois has already undergone surgery in Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo, which could see him sidelined for four months.
The Daily Mail reports he could be out for at least two months with the problem, while Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws says he is facing a minimum of 10 weeks out.
Asmir Begovic, who signed for Chelsea from Stoke in the summer, is set to deputise for Courtois, having already featured in his place when he was suspended for the 3-0 loss at Manchester City.
Chelsea have endured a poor start to the defence of their Premier League title, winning one and losing two of their opening four matches.
