ROUNDUP: Cony field hockey picks up easy win – Kennebec Journal & Morning Sentinel
AUGUSTA — Delaney Keithley and Haley Ward each had a hat trick as Cony defeated Bangor 10-0 in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A field hockey action Thursday.
Cari Hopkins added two goals for Cony (3-1) while Molly Silsby and Katherine Foster had one apiece. Jessica Lee made five saves.
Kahia Maheux stopped 25 shots in the cage for Bangor (0-3).
GARDINER 5, MORSE 0: Nickyia Lovely and Hailee Lovely each scored twice to lead the Tigers to the KVAC B win in Bath.
Madelin Walker had the other goal for Gardiner (4-0). Mikayla Bourassa and Bryce Smith each had an assist. Kaylin Mansir made three saves.
Madeline Baker stopped 26 shots for Morse (1-2).
LAWRENCE 6, MARANACOOK 0: Hallee Parlin scored two goals to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC B win in Readfield.
Alexis Chamberlain added a goal and an assist for Lawrence (4-0). Domi Lewis, MaKenna Rogers and Lauren Watson added a goal apiece.
Kaitlyn Mason made 22 saves for Maranacook (1-3).
MOUNT VIEW 3, ERSKINE 2, OT: Megan Mikel scored with 49 seconds left in the first overtime as Mount View edged Erskine in KVAC B play.
Reanna Boulay scored two goals for Mount View (2-2). Michelle Lemelin had both goals to help Erskine (0-4) rally from a 2-0 halftime deficit.
GIRLS SOCCER
RICHMOND 4, OLD ORCHARD 1: Meranda Martin sand Caitlin Kendrick each scored two goals to lead the host Bobcats to the win.
Kelsea Anair, Molly Meagher and Kendrick each ahd an assist for Richmond (2-0-0). Sidney Tilton made three saves.
Sadie Barbaria scored the goal for Old Orchard (0-2-0). Tiffany Leclair stopped 12 shots.
