Bowling Green DL plays dead after losing shoe (Video)
Up-tempo offenses make it difficult for defenses to make substitutions.
And when your 327-pound defensive tackle loses his shoe? That makes substitutions even tougher.
But Bowling Green’s Mike Minns was able to come up with a solution for both problems against Tennessee. He played dead!
After he lost his shoe, Minns, a 5-foot-10, 327-pound redshirt junior, looks over to the sideline for advice. Apparently the Falcons coaching staff just told him to hit the deck.
Minns does so beautifully.
Bowling Green is putting up a good fight against the Vols in Nashville, trailing just 28-20 late in the first half.
