UCLA DB Ishmael Adams suspended indefinitely following arrest

UCLA defensive back Ishmael Adams has been suspended following hisAccording to the Los Angeles Times, the suspension is indefinite, pending additional information obtained by police.
Adams was arrested at 3:36 a.m. Sunday for allegedly using force to steal a cell phone from an Uber driver.
Per the Times, Adams was released on bail Tuesday at 6:24 a.m and has a court date scheduled for Sept. 22.

Adams, a redshirt junior, was a first team All-Pac-12 selection last year. He registered 41 tackles and two interceptions, both of which he returned for touchdowns. Adams also started every game for the Bruins in 2013 and led the team with four interceptions. He also totaled 61 tackles.
UCLA opens up its season at home against Virginia on Saturday.
