Stars fan delivers pregame burgers to Seguin
There was once a time where social media got Tyler Seguin into hot water in his younger days. Lately, however, the Dallas Stars forward is a little more polished and also uses mediums like Twitter to connect with his fans.
Seguin found out just how valuable Twitter can be Saturday as he was preparing to play in a charity sled hockey game near Dallas. Before the game, one Stars fan reached out to Seguin to see if he needed a little pregame snack from In-N-Out.
As it turns out, Seguin was hungry and he knew exactly what he wanted…
@lindsfromda1975 double double with just ketchup. Please

Sure enough, Lindsey Dortch, the fan turned delivery driver, arrived to the game with burger in hand.

Soon thereafter she was presenting the Dallas forward with his lunch right there by the ice.
I didn’t pass out, so that’s good! @tseguinofficial pic.twitter.com/1eZOtsAn8C

Unfortunately he was already on the ice so couldn’t chow down right away, but he didn’t let the delicious treat go to waste as Paralympic gold medalist Taylor Lipsett reports.
@tseguinofficial @lindsfromda1975 he got the burger and ate half of it between the 2nd & 3rd period on the bench next to me ???

As Dortch told the Dallas Morning News, she wanted to talk to Seguin after the game but couldn’t because she “forgot how to speak for a second.”
Presumably Seguin couldn’t speak either. It’s rude to talk with your mouth full.
