Well, both of these clubs got off to a less than stellar start to the Serie A season, but the biggest shock of the opening weekend was defending champion Juventus losing at home to Udinese.

Juventus is the slight road-betting favorite in this match and the last time these 2 clubs met in Rome the outcome was a 1-1 draw.

Juve played solid defense in their opening match, but gave up a goal in the 78th minute, which was Udinese’s only real shot on target. They were the easy winner of the Scudetto last season and Champions League runner up, but they only had 5 shots on goal in the season opener.

New Juventus signing FW Mario Mandzukic had a great chance on a close header in the season opener, but it went wide. He will have to pace the attack for the visiting club in this match facing a Roma squad that conceded 1 goal in their opener.

AS Roma will have a tough time cracking the Juve defense led by DF Giorgio Chiellini and GK Gianluigi Buffon.
