Visiting team, the Chicago Bears launched themselves head first into their preseason opening game against the Miami Dolphins, securing a victory of 27-10 despite trailing behind during the first two quarters of the game. This was thanks in part to QB Jake Cutler, who looked like a missing link in the team thanks to his top two receivers Alshon Jeffery and Kevin White being out with injuries. It would be Jimmy Clausen that would prove to be advantageous to the Bears, completing 17 of 27 passes for 151 yards against the Dolphins.
The preseason stats for the Chicago Bears places them 21st for the 191 yards of passes made and fourth for the 166 yards of rushes made during their début match. A little less sturdy in defence, the Bears have some work to do to advance above the overall 18th position they’re in for allowing 343 yards during the same game.
The Colts seemed to be all out of synch during their preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles,, managing to score just 10 points in the game. The team missed out on playing several of their starters, including wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, running back Frank Gore and cornerback Vontae Davis. Meanwhile, quarterback Andrew Luck only tried for six passes, completing five of them for 43 yards. The match also saw rookie cornerback D’Joun Smith suffer a concussion in the first half.
While Indianapolis are on home soil, they’ll have strong competition from the Chicago Bears in this second week game. The Colts’ overall offence for the preseason has them standing in 23rd position for 281 yards at current, while defence-wise, they’re floundering in 30th position after giving 412 yards to the Eagles.
The Bear’s Commander John Fox got a win out of the way in the first match and may tone it down in Week two where he has an overall record of 5-8 in the last 13 seasons. Fox has not hgad as losing preseason since 2010. The Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has no interest in winning these games with a 4-9 record in his career and a 0-5 record since 2014.

We like the UNDER here. The Bears are a little banged up and there probably isn’t much that Chicago hasn’t shown of their reduced game plan after this week’s scrimmages again Indianapolis. The Colts coach doesn’t care about winning these games and it’s doubtful that we’ll see much of Andrew Luck and Matt Hasselback doesn’t impress us. Look for a 14-10 type game.
