DeAngelo Hall, DeAndre Hopkins take ‘Hard Knocks’ battle to Twitter
Aside from Bill O’Brien’s language, Vince Wilfork’s basketball skills and J.J. Watt’s rapping, the highlight of the opening episode of “Hard Knocks” might have been the verbal war between Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall and Houston Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

The two had a bit of a verbal sparring match after a play, Hopkins complained about it on the sideline, then he beat Hall badly on a move and caught a pass while trainers came out and looked at Hall as he writhed on the ground in pain. Hopkins proudly proclaimed that he finished the battle.
Hopkins also retweeted some jokes about the play and a Vine of the play itself.
Well, Hall wasn’t done with it, and he had a different version of events.
Well, that’s one way of looking at it, but sure. And Hopkins isn’t some nobody, he had 1,210 yards in his second season with practically no help from his quarterbacks. If you polled 32 NFL general managers, they’d take Hopkins 64-0 over Hall because they’d all vote twice for Hopkins.
Hopkins was made aware of the tweet, because he had a solid one-liner back.
Looks like Hopkins finished it again.
