Clemson DB Korrin Wiggins out for season due to ACL tear
Clemson defensive back Korrin Wiggins went down with a torn ACL during practice on Wednesday. The junior will miss the entire 2015 season,Wiggins’ injury occurred when he tried to recover a fumble during Wednesday’s scrimmage in Memorial Stadium, the program said in a release. Wiggins, who started six games in 2014 as the team’s primary nickel cornerback, has not previously used his redshirt, so he will be able to return in 2016 as a redshirt junior.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Wiggins played in all 13 games for the Tigers totaled 40 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions last season. Wiggins also played in 12 games a true freshman in 2013 and registered 14 tackles and two interceptions.
Wiggins wasn’t the only injury for Clemson on Wednesday. The program also announced that starting wideout Mike Williams pulled his hamstring and backup offensive lineman suffered a sprained ankle.
