Airbnb and Curt Schilling partner to host the first ever sleepover at Fenway Park
Welcome to 2015, baseball fans, a fantastic time in which something like this is possible: You can have a sleepover at Fenway Park through Airbnb after hanging out with Curt Schilling and watching part of a Boston Red Sox-New York Yankees game from inside the Green Monster.
This is actually a real thing that’s going to happen, we swear.

The Red Sox and Schilling have partnered with Airbnb — which fancies itself the community marketplace for unique accommodations — to host the first ever sleepover at Fenway on Sept. 2. Airbnb promises unique accommodations and it delivers with this one.
One lucky winner gets a one-of-a-kind experience at Fenway, one of MLB’s most historic ballparks. It starts with a tour from Schilling, playing catch on the field with him, watching the start of the game from inside the Green Monster, then sitting in front-row seats with another Red Sox icon, Luis Tiant.
There’s a post-game meal on the top of the right-field deck, custom uniforms, a shopping spree in the team merch store and, finally, a sleepover in one of Fenway’s suites made up look like a bedroom.
The next day starts with breakfast atop the Green Monster. This is like having a golden ticket to tour Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Just the baseball version.
“There are very few things,” Schilling says, “that you can do anymore and say no one in the world has ever done this. This is one of those things.”

For Schilling’s part as the “host” in this, he says he’s going to walk the winners around Fenway and tell them about his game-day routine and what it was like for him to play for the Red Sox. He will not, however, be spending the night. Schilling estimates this is the type of access a diehard Red Sox fan would “give away their first born” to get.
The cost is actually much cheaper. To enter to win, you just have to head over to the Airbnb site and answer why this Fenway getaway would be a dream of yours. Deadline to enter is 11:59 p.m. ET Aug. 20. The best answer wins and that person gets to bring a guest along for the adventure. Because you can’t have a great sleepover solo.
