This baby dressed like Johnny Cueto is the cutest thing you’ll see today
did not disappoint. He fired a four-hit shutout, striking out eight as the Royals beat the Detroit Tigers 4-0.

The Cueto-ization of K.C. didn’t take long. He was making his first start at his new home stadium after the trade-deadline deal that brought him over from Cincinnati and Cueto was welcomed with dreadlocks. As in, people were wearing dreadlocks to look like him.
Sluggerrr, the Royals’ mascot, put on dreads, as did a number of fans and even a couple cameramen. But, hands down, the cutest little Cueto in the building is right here:

Mr. Deadmond, if we may offer some unsolicited parenting advice: Please keep doing this. In fact, please keep dressing up your child like other members of the Royals as the team marches toward October. Baseball will be better because of it.
