Wrigley Field was briefly evacuated following Sunday’s game due to a “credible” bomb threat.

For a while, things seemed pretty serious. As Andrew Baggarly noted, the threat came in after the game and team buses had already left the park.
Aside from media, it appears some team employees were likely impacted by the evacuation.
While the issue was considered serious, Chicago police gave the “all clear” after about 45 minutes or so. Wrigley Field workers and members of the media were allowed back in the park.
It appears a potential serious situation was resolved without any issues. Kudos to the Chicago police for assessing a threat and making sure everyone stayed safe.

Ultimately, the threat appeared to be nothing, but we’re glad nobody was hurt.
