Another round of summer friendlies in the US and Canada has come and gone. And they have once again been a smashing success. Crowds have been good as have the all-important TV ratings. A lot of people don’t particularly care for these friendlies, but as long as there is a market for them and as long as clubs can keep making money, they’ll keep playing here which is just fine.
