Marcus Mariota has zero picks through four days of training camp – CBSSports.com
According to The Tennessean, which has been tracking Titans rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota‘s training camp throws because that’s a thing people do these days, Mariota has not been intercepted once through four days of training camp. He’s unofficially (i.e., by The Tennessean‘s tracking) completed 49 of 73 throws (67.1 percent) through the four days of drills.
Let’s be real here: this means somewhere between very little and absolutely nothing. It’s training camp, and a lot of these drills are just seven-on-seven sessions without any pressure coming from a defensive line. Going pick-less is great, but it’s not like it’s unheard of.
Nor has #Jets Geno Smith. https://t.co/obQdIqUmWt

Yes, Geno Smith and Jay Cutler, those bastions of top-notch quarterback play and interception-free football, have also not yet thrown a pick during training camp.
And it’s not as though Titans defensive backs are pick-masters, anyway. Tennessee had the ninth-fewest interceptions in the NFL last year with 12, and their 2.20 percent interception rate (INT/ATT) tied for 10th-worst in the NFL with the Saints. So let’s try not to read too much into this other than to say it’s better that Mariota hasn’t thrown an interception than if he’d been throwing them left and right.
