Tom Penn: Today we’re looking at ESPN.com’s Forecast rankings of the 30 front offices of NBA franchises. Let’s discuss what we think looks right, wrong and surprising about these rankings. Remember, this ranking was based on the collective opinion of NBA people throughout ESPN, ranking 1-30 owners, general managers and coaches.
Chad Ford: The San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors get the top spot because there’s complete synergy between owner, GM and coach. They are all on the same page about culture, style of play, decision-making and have the correct balance between focusing both on the now and the future. To me, those two are clearly the best-run teams in the league.
