Brewers to unleash the ultimate Wisconsin brat, nachos this season
We’re just days away from the start of the 2015 season, and that means it’s the prime time for teams to release their wacky food items for the upcoming season. We’ve already seen what the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks have to offer this season, but you can’t do crazy, fried foods without including the Midwest.
Thank goodness for the Milwaukee Brewers, who are set to unleash two new food items this season. First up, it’s the ‘Down Wisconsin Avenue’ Brat.
This brat has everything: fries, gravy, cheese curds and sauerkraut are placed on the dog. That gets covered with cheese sauce, fried jalapenos, sour cream and chives.
This is, truly, the ultimate Wisconsin brat. The only way this could be more Wisconsin is it they served it with a mini Fonz statue on the side. I think we can all agree that this brat sounds delicious, and is also not a sandwich.
On top of that, the club has also announced the ‘Inside the Park Nachos.’ These are not your typical nachos.
Nachos are great, but they are a difficult item to eat on the go. And, if you’re anything like me, you need to consume your ballpark food the instant it’s placed in your hand. With nachos on a stick, that’s no longer a problem!
The ‘Inside the Park Nachos’ are packed with taco meat and crusted with Doritos. That will be topped with cheese sauce and sour cream, and will be served with salsa.
Wisconsin, where the beer flows freely, the cheese curds squeak loudly and where you are legally required to consume a fried item before entering the state. You’ve never let us down, and we thank you for it.
If you’re going to do crazy ballpark foods, do them right. You can always depend on the Brewers, and the Midwest, for that.
