Roy Halladay is not the biggest fan of Alex Rodriguez
Former Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Roy Halladay seems to be enjoying his retirement. Whether it’s taking pictures with unsuspecting fans or learning how to fly, Halladay appears to be pretty active these days.
That was the case recently, as Halladay took the mound against, possibly, a fan. He not only took the opportunity to brag about notching his first strikeout post-retirement, but also to take a shot at New York Yankees infielder Alex Rodriguez.

While Halladay took a shot at A-Rod’s swing, it’s worth noting that Rodriguez held his own against Halladay in a small sampling of at-bats. Rodriguez hit .299/.349/.429 in 77 at-bats against Halladay from 1998 to 2013. Halladay did limit Rodriguez to just one home run, though.
Halladay also may want to consider pulling back on the comeback talk. The Phillies are currently slated to go with Aaron Harang as their number two starter, and definitely still have Halladay’s number on speed dial.
