Yuba picks up walk-off victory over Mendocino – Appeal-Democrat

The Yuba College baseball team rallied for three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to earn a key 6-5 walk-off victory over Mendocino in a Bay Valley Conference matchup at Colusa Casino Stadium in Marysville on Saturday.

Hank Pankratz led off the inning with a single and was followed by a pinch-hit single by River Valley High product T.J. Dove to put runners on first and second. Wheatland graduate Haydon Liessmann tied the game one out later by taking a 1-2 pitch and lining a two-run triple into the right-field corner.
