Dodgers fan uses his phone to make nifty catch on a foul ball
How much would you sacrifice in order to catch a foul ball? Those of us who have attended a large number of games only to leave with a souvenir cup might be willing to go the extra mile to haul in a game-used ball.
One Los Angeles Dodgers fan put that theory to the test Thursday, nearly sacrificing his phone in order to catch a foul ball.
I’m not sure what kind of case that is on his phone, but I’m buying one. That ball seemed to travel a long distance, and the phone appeared to be unharmed. Overall, the fan’s idea may not have been the smartest, but it did work out.

The best part of the whole ordeal might be the faces of the two kids in his row. The kid in the Mike Trout jersey has his jaw on the floor, while the kid next to the fan remains equally flabbergasted at what he just experienced.
We here at The Stew support your bold strategy, triumphant fan. May you proudly display that ball on some type of decorative mantle piece in your home.
