Carey Price poses for selfie with young fan during timeout (Video)
Carey Price, is sheer awesomeness right now. He stops a ton of pucks. He’s leading the Canadiens in what’s turned into a Hart Trophy type season. And he made a young fan’s day.
Check out Price posing with the fan for a selfie taken by said fan near the Montreal bench in its 3-1 win over the Islanders.
It’s funny because Price needs to almost do a double-take to realize what’s happening with the fan. And once he does, pose, smile, blue steel.
Also, Price stopped 35 of 36 shots on goal in an epic potential Hart match up with New York Islanders sniper John Tavares. If fan likability was also part of the award recognition, Price would have made an even bigger case for himself.
Jaromir Jagr still rules the fan selife photobomb category. Phil Kessel? He clearly didn’t want any part of this photo. Price’s gesture is slightly below Jagr’s, but still excellent.
