A look around the league and the web that covers it. It’s also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren’t always listed in order of importance. That’s for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: Boston.com. Chad Finn has put together a fantastic oral history regarding the night Larry Bird torched the still-laughing Atlanta Hawks for 60 points.
PF: NBA Australia. Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut shares his thoughts on all manner of NBA-related subjects, but pay close attention to his rant about the NBL toward the bottom.
SF: SB Nation. On Friday morning Doc Rivers decided to rip into the contents of a (typically, very good) ESPN piece by Tom Haberstroh, before eventually revealing that he hadn’t read the piece and was unaware of the actual content Haberstroh cobbled together. This has really not been a very good week for Doc Rivers.
SG: Los Angeles Daily News. Byron Scott is upset at his Lakers’ effort in a loss, and the sun will set in the West on Friday evening.
PG: BBallBreakdown. Bryan Toporek on the massive increase in effort the Denver Nuggets have given their fans in the wake of Brian Shaw’s dismissal, and the emergence of Danilo Gallinari.
6th: Inside Bay Area. Alvin Gentry will be a head coach in the NBA again. That much is certain.
7th: New York Daily News. Frank Isola delves into the borderline hilarious reality that is the intertwining relationships of Jeanie Buss, Phil Jackson, Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks.
8th: Akron Beacon Journal. Jason Lloyd with his notes from last night’s brilliant Cleveland Cavaliers win, always a must-read.
9th: Sports Illustrated. Rob Mahoney with a cadre of clever NBA clips that you may have missed while watching the nationally televised games.
10th: NBA.com/Bulls. Jerry Reinsdorf is celebrating his 30-year anniversary of owning the Chicago Bulls. That’s all I should probably say.
