Brewers pitcher Will Smith just wants to be friends with actor Will Smith

Everyone deserves a chance to meet their idol, and Milwaukee Brewers reliever Will Smith is attempting to do just that. 

Recently, Smith wrote to actor Will Smith, detailing the ways in which the two could become best friends. Smith, the reliever, makes some compelling arguments.

Smith really celebrates the actor’s entire catalogue here. He manages to touch on his singing career, with the reference to “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It,” but also works in “Wild Wild West” and Carlton from “Fresh Prince.” On top of that, Smith gets some good shots in on his teammates and coaches. 

C’mon, actor Will Smith, what do you say? Who wouldn’t want to take in a game at Miller Park, eat a brat and watch the Racing Sausages? 

P.S. If Smith, the actor, doesn’t show, Smith, the reliever, should still be allowed to tell his friends they hang out all the time.
