Bouchard through to quarterfinals at Australian Open (Yahoo Sports)

Eugenie Bouchard moved into the quarterfinals of another Grand Slam with a 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 win over Irina-Camelia Begu at the Australian Open on Sunday. In a match of changing momentum, the Canadian won nine of the first 10 games, leading by a set and 3-0, before Begu won seven of the next nine. Bouchard lost the second set when she double-faulted on set point, then broke Begu’s service to open the deciding set and again to take a 5-2 lead before serving out the match. The 20-year-old Bouchard reached the semifinals at the first three Grand Slam tournaments of 2014, including her first trip to the Australian Open.
