The most wonderful time of the college football season is almost here, as we are on the cusp of bowl season. Starting on Dec. 20, 72 teams will play in various bowls, while the top four squads in the country — Alabama, Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State — will compete to win the inaugural College Football Playoff.
This bowl season is jam-packed with great games, and trying to pick winners for each contest is certainly a daunting task. So many of these matchups look fantastic on paper, but if we know anything about bowl season, it’s to expect the unexpected.
