Buffalo-Kent game Wednesday ppd. by snow
There will be no Snow Bowl in Buffalo on Wednesday night.
The MAC announced Wednesday afternoon that the game between Buffalo and Kent State has been postponed due to heavy snowfall in the area. With over five feet of snowfall in recent days, drivers have been stranded on highways — the state has actually closed a 140-mile stretch of Interstate 90 — and at least six deaths have been reported due to the situation.
According to the release from the MAC, officials will meet again on Thursday to figure out whether it’s feasible to play the game Thursday night, or whether it will have to be scheduled for another time.
