The show will go on: Eisen show truck found in Florida
The truck used for Rich Eisen’s weekly satellite TV show, which had disappeared and presumed stolen Wednesday morning from a Miami Lakes hotel parking lot, was found by police Wednesday night in Northwest Dade County, the Miami Herald reported.
After tweeting earlier in the day about the theft, Eisen posted a photo of the recovered truck trailer on Instagram. He was thoughtful enough to include a promo for the show, which debuted on DirecTV last month.
Only the trailer was found, not the cab, but otherwise police said they did not see that anything was damaged or stolen.
Eisen and the truck were in the Miami area to do his show before he hosted the pregame show for the NFL Network broadcast of the Bills-Dolphins game Thursday. A backup truck had been dispatched, so the show had not been expected to be postponed.
There was no word on any suspects.
